The kids' favorite part of fall is Halloween! And this year it was extra-exciting, because we hosted the neighborhood's Family Co-op Halloween party! There was lots of families, spider rings, and pizza.
This year, Claire chose to be an angel, Matthew a paramedic, and Stella a fairy. Stella was supposed to be a scarecrow, since I already had the costume (Claire and Matthew both wore it when they were two). But Stella took one look at the tattered pants and patched shirt and refused to even try it on! My mom found the sparkly fairy costume at a second-hand store and knew it would be a hit. And she was right! Stella LOVED her beautiful costume!! Ah, drama!
And this year, Doug and I got into the action, too... we were a totally awesome 80's couple! Like, totally...
