RODEO HOUSTON

March is rodeo time in Houston! The calf ropin' and bull ridin' happen in the evening--which is still too late for our youngens, but there are plenty of other daytime things to keep us busy. The weather was beautiful today, so we dusted off our boots and headed out.

We rode MetroRail to Reliant Center, and I must tell my fellow Houstonians that this is probably the best way to go. And Matthew thought it was the coolest thing ever!

At the rodeo we visited the petting zoo, saw longhorns and pigs, sat on tractors, played at the carnival, rode sheep (well, Matthew did), and ate our fill of everything fried!
